On March 21, 1945, the British Royal Air Force attacked Gestapo HQ in occupied Copenhagen & mistakenly bombed a school killing 87 kids & many civilians. This tragic incident is dramatized in the 2022 Danish film “The Shadow in My Eye“ (renamed “The Bombardment” for the current Netflix release.) Eighty years later, Feb 28, 2026, American forces bombed an Iranian school killing upwards of 100 little school girls and hundreds of civilians.
